The following terms govern your use of the HANZI Nutrition website.

By accessing and using the HANZI Nutrition website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website.

All content on this website — including but not limited to blog posts, recipes, tools, calculator results, graphics, logos, and designs — is the property of HANZI Nutrition. No reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of this content is permitted without prior written permission.

3. Calorie Calculator Disclaimer

The calorie calculator and related tools provide estimates based on the Mifflin-St Jeor equation and standard nutritional formulas. These results are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Abuse, harass, or threaten other users or staff
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the website using automated tools
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the website's functionality

5. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to external services such as Calendly for appointment scheduling. HANZI Nutrition is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites or services.

6. Limitation of Liability

HANZI Nutrition provides this website and its services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HANZI Nutrition shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the website or services.

HANZI Nutrition reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the website after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.

Part 2 — Client Service Agreement

The following terms apply to clients who engage HANZI Nutrition's professional services.

1. Scope of Service

HANZI Nutrition provides nutritional guidance and dietary planning services. These services are explicitly not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients must consult a physician before starting any nutrition program, especially if they have medical conditions, are pregnant, or take medications.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete health information
• Inform HANZI Nutrition of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications
• Follow dietary guidance responsibly and within the scope of professional recommendations

3. Package Terms

Sessions are provided in packages as agreed upon booking. Each package must be completed within the agreed timeframe.

4. Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule up to 1 session per package. The rescheduled session will be added to the end of the package period. Only 1 reschedule is permitted per package.

5. Cancellation

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice count as a completed session. Sessions not attended and not rescheduled within the allowed limit are forfeited.

6. Refund Policy

Before the first session, a full refund is available within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with the EU cooling-off period. After the first session has taken place, the package is non-refundable.

7. Confidentiality

All client health data is kept strictly confidential. HANZI Nutrition will not share your personal health information with third parties except with your explicit consent or where required by law.

8. Program Disclaimer

Results vary by individual. HANZI Nutrition does not guarantee specific outcomes. Nutritional guidance is based on current scientific understanding and best practices.

9. Termination

Either party may end the professional relationship with written notice. Any unused prepaid sessions will be refunded in accordance with the refund policy above.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
