Is this for you?

Who this service is for

Medical nutrition therapy works alongside your doctor, not instead of them. Bring your diagnosis, your medication list and your most recent bloodwork.

This is likely a good fit if

  • You have type 2 diabetes, prediabetes or insulin resistance and want to understand what actually moves your numbers
  • You are managing high blood pressure, cholesterol or heart disease and have been told to "eat better" without specifics
  • You have a digestive condition and are stuck between elimination diets that keep shrinking your options
  • You have kidney disease and need the detail that generic advice never covers

This is probably not the right fit if

  • You are in an acute phase that needs inpatient or urgent medical care — see your doctor first
  • You want to stop prescribed medication — that is a conversation for the person who prescribed it

Our Process

How We Work

  1. Medical Assessment

Your disease, medications, laboratory results, symptoms and treatment history are examined in detail. Coordination with your doctor is ensured.

    • Comprehensive health history review
    • Laboratory results analysis
    • Medication interaction assessment
    • Doctor coordination and collaboration

    60-90 minutes

  2. Therapeutic Diet Plan

A disease-specific, evidence-based nutrition therapy plan is created. A menu compatible with your medications and treatment, suitable for your culture is prepared.

    • Personalized meal planning
    • Evidence-based nutrition protocols
    • Cultural dietary preferences
    • Medication-compatible menus

    5-7 days

  3. Regular Monitoring

Disease parameters (blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.) are regularly monitored. Laboratory results are evaluated and the plan is optimized.

    • Regular follow-up consultations
    • WhatsApp daily support
    • Program optimization and adjustments
    • Disease parameter tracking

    Every 2-4 weeks

  4. Multidisciplinary Approach

We work in cooperation with your doctor and healthcare team. You get the best results with nutrition support integrated into your treatment.

    • 24/7 expert support
    • Doctor coordination
    • Medication optimization support
    • Long-term health planning

Practicalities

What's included

Every service runs on the same structure. What changes is what we work on inside it.

First consultation
60–90 minutes, online or in person in Tilburg and Antalya. We go through your history, your habits and what you actually want out of this.
Your plan
Built for you and sent within 5–7 days — not a template, and not a list of foods you already know you should eat.
Follow-ups
Every 2–4 weeks, so the plan adapts to your real life rather than the version of it we imagined in session one.
Between sessions
WhatsApp support for the questions that come up in a supermarket aisle at 6pm, when a plan on paper stops being useful.
Language
Consultations in English or Turkish, with the same depth in both.
Payment
Private-pay. Consultations are not billed to Dutch health insurance — HANZI is not Kwaliteitsregister-registered and holds no AGB code, so if reimbursement matters to you, check your policy before booking.
Getting started
A free discovery call first. It costs you nothing and tells us both whether this is the right fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What foods raise blood sugar in diabetes?
Foods that can raise blood sugar include refined carbohydrates, sugary drinks, white bread, white rice, and processed foods. As a diabetes dietitian, I help you identify and manage these foods while creating a balanced meal plan that keeps blood sugar stable.
What is a heart-healthy diet?
A heart-healthy diet is low in saturated fats, trans fats, and sodium, while rich in fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. I create personalized heart-healthy meal plans that reduce cardiovascular disease risk while remaining enjoyable.
Can nutrition help with hypertension?
Yes, nutrition plays a key role in managing blood pressure. The DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) is clinically proven to lower blood pressure. I provide personalized hypertension nutrition counseling incorporating DASH principles and sodium reduction strategies.
Do you work with patients who have multiple conditions?
Yes, many clients have multiple health conditions. I specialize in creating comprehensive nutrition plans that address several conditions simultaneously, ensuring nutritional needs are met while managing all health concerns effectively.
